In the Kitchen

I have found some lovely vintage kitchenalia over the past while...

This fab red Persinware scales was $6 in Vinnie's - Made in Australia :-)

Oh how I love all things aqua - this flour sifter was $3 in Vinnie's.

These retro nesting snack containers were $3.

With new Tupperware so expensive I never turn down the vintage stuff - $2 each.

I bought this beautiful colander quite a while ago and can't remember if I already posted about it, I think it was about $5.

These beautiful solid wooden salt and pepper shakers were $2 for the pair, I love their organic look.

Cute vintage kettle - $3.

A glass half-litre wine carafe - $2.

And finally a couple of Liberty anniversary mugs, the photo doesn't do them justice, they are a lovely mint green - 50 cents each.

Beautiful treasures, the bright red scale in the first picture is perfection. And my mom had cool vintage Tupperware like that. I have to keep an eye out for some of those! I'm always low on Tupperware.

Wow, I'm basically in love with everything you found. You've got a good eye for true thrifty treasures!

The red scale is a score! Do you find there's usually "A Smell" with old Tupperware containers? I like picking up the nice bright orange ones but they have to pass my sniff test...

Love, love, love the scales and the sifter. Great colour.

I have two of those scales, in red and in white. You got it for a good price. There's one that's been sold in a collectable shop near me for $35.

Wow, you've got some really nice, colorful stuff. It's hard to pick my favorites, but man, I really love that scale. it's so beautiful! A close second would be the vintage tea kettle. I'm now fantasizing about Vinnie's and what a great store it is that I always see it mentioned in your posts!
