Clay

I'm sure I'm not alone in having every tiny detail of my ideal kitchen planned and picked out for when we have the home of our dreams. I would definitely love acres of open shelving stacked with both vintage and modern kitchenalia, including lots of cute little pottery pieces such as these recent finds...

Ironstone cups and saucers with a gorgeous retro pattern - $3 total.

Butterdish - $1.

I love the calming green of this bowl but it's the inside I love even more...

The swirls of colour and crackled glass glaze, lovely - $2.

You can never have too many ramekins, right? 50 cents each.

And one thing there will definitely be no shortage of in my dream kitchen is vintage pyrex! WARNING: I feel another pyrex post coming on soon. If you love pyrex as much as I do head over to Vonlipi's Favorites - she is giving away a fab piece of retro pyrex and you will love her blog, I am in envy of her finds, how can anybody possibly find every single type of pyrex butterdish that has been made? Would it be greedy of me to enter after winning Grunge Queen's fab giveaway? Yes! I won "Domino the Book of Decorating" - I am so excited! I have had this book on my wish list for ages, thanks again Grunge Queen!

LoL; today I made another entry in my "dream kitchen notebook"...diamond shaped wooden shelves built into the wall to hold wine bottles.

Love the big blue bowl and the inside - so lovely! I also have a thing for retro ironstone - there's just nothing like it.
